Choose one adult per image, facing toward the camera, with the face and shoulders visible. A head-and-shoulders portrait is generally easier to inspect than a distant figure. Avoid sunglasses, covered faces, heavy filters and screenshots of an already compressed image.
Use JPG, PNG or WebP files up to 8 MB each, with both dimensions between 301 and 5999 pixels and a width-to-height ratio between 0.4 and 2.5. We check these limits before checkout.
What the 0–100 photo guide means
The guide measures image size, average brightness, contrast and local detail on a small copy in your browser. Low light, a very small image or little detail can lower the score. Its tip helps you decide whether another portrait would be clearer. It does not change your original file.
A detailed background can score well even if the face is blurred. The guide cannot detect faces, age or permission, and it does not predict whether a provider will accept the photo. Always inspect the face yourself; a high score is not a likeness guarantee.
A low score is a suggestion, not an extra step
Try an evenly lit shot with the original file resolution. Keep the two portraits distinct. A supported image with a lower score can still be selected; the guide does not force you to edit or purchase anything.
